In this world of smartphones, the camera is one of those features is somewhere decides whether the smartphone is better than other smartphones. Especially with the best smartphones costing about as much as a good DSLR which probably takes much better pictures.

This is because people now are always in a mood to capture the moments of there life with friends, family. And instantly share with the world. To present these moments in their best version to their friends and family. Innovation in smartphone camera design has driven remarkably.

Currently, in the world of smartphones camera dual rear cameras with combinations of various focal lengths and fields of views to achieve different zoom levels is a buzz. we have seen recently that companies are now days working on increasing the resolution of cameras, with the 2013 Lumia 1020 still setting somewhat of a high water mark.

But this may be about to change, as Evan Blass (@evleaks) on his twitter handle has said of seeing hints of a new smartphone camera coming from Huawei that will not just offer super high-resolution pictures, but also a wide selection of lenses.

 

Evan Blass says that he has seen a copy from the company’s marketing agency which suggests Huawei is working with lens company Leica to develop a smartphone with a 40MP, 3 lenses rear camera with 5x hybrid zoom. The device will reportedly also offer a 24MP front-facing camera. This device might be one of Huawei’s P-series maybe Huawei P11, which is reserved for their most innovative devices.

Lumia 1020 have used a large 40-megapixel sensor. Whereas Huawei may come with the combination of sensors of the all three cameras on the back and using algorithms and AI to weave the results into a seamless image. Huawei has successfully offered us 2x lossless zoom which relies on a 20MP pixel dedicated a monochrome camera to boost the details captured by the 12MP main color sensor.

The copy also mentions a  ‘Pro Night Mode’ and ‘Pro AI camera assist’.

This whole setup might be the successor to the Lumia 1020, as Huawei has established a camera R&D center in Tampere, Finland, last year, and are employing a number of ex-Nokia ex-Microsoft engineers and developers.
