Earlier today, Microsoft held an event in San Francisco with Alex Kipman on stage talking about Microsoft’s Windows Mixed Reality vision.
In the event, Microsoft announced Samsung as the latest company to join the family of Windows Mixed Reality headsets with its HMD Odyssey. Microsoft also announced that they are acquiring popular VR startup AltspaceVR. The company also announced that they’re starting to take the pre-orders for Windows Mixed Reality Headsets. These include the following:

- Lenovo Explorer- Pre-order here from the Microsoft Store ($399)
- HP Windows Mixed Reality Headset- Pre-order here from the Microsoft Store ($449)
- Acer Windows Mixed Reality Headset- Pre-order here from the Microsoft Store ($399)
- Samsung Odyssey Windows Mixed Reality Headset- Pre-order here from the Microsoft Store ($499)
