The fourth Quater of last year, HMD Global maker of Nokia branded smartphones sold more the 4 million smartphones and we can expect that the company will release more smartphone and sell throughout this year. Last year in December, an unpacked Nokia Camera app unveiled a list of launched and some unlaunched devices of Nokia smartphones. In the unlaunched category is Nokia 1, Nokia 4 and Nokia 7 Plus (or Nokia 7+).

A couple of months back, we heard that the Nokia 1 and Nokia 7+ are expected to be unveiled this year. But, the company has not confirmed officially any of them. Now, we get to see the first official renders of both devices, thanks to images released by Evan Blass.

Nokia 7 Plus or Nokia 7+

According to the leaked images, the Nokia 7+ will have rounded corners screen, it will be the first smartphone from the company that sport rounded corners screen. According to the recent leaks and rumors in a couple of months, the Nokia 7 Plus will come with a 6-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is expected to powered by Snapdragon 660 processor under the hood and 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage on board. In the image, there is a 3.5 mm audio jack port on top.

The Nokia 7+ will be featured with dual Zeiss-branded lenses, a fingerprint scanner and Android One Logo at the bottom. The phone has orange color accents around the camera, display and fingerprint scanner and physical buttons are also orange color.

In China, sold Nokia smartphones running on a different version of Android from those sold outside China. We can expect that the Nokia 7+ Android One variant will not be sold in China. Which means the Nokia 7+ Android One variant is for other countries.

Nokia 1

It looks like the Nokia 1 is a low-end smartphone and design isn’t attractive. The phone is expected to feature with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution display, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB internal storage on board. It supposed to run on a lightweight version of Android, Android Go Edition or Android Oreo. Google developed a lightweight version of Android specifically or entry-level phones.

In the image, the Nokia 1 will have huge bezels around the screen. On the back side, there is single camera lens with large LED Flashlight. The Nokia Logo placed in the middle of the smartphone. There is a speaker at the bottom right corner. On the front side, there is a selfie-taking camera at top left corner.

There are two different color Nokia 1 images released,  indigo and bright red. Both the Nokia 1 variants have silver accents around the rear camera and bezels.

If you see the images closely, Both smartphones tease their announce dates on the screen. February 25, Sunday is for Nokia 7+ (or Nokia 7 Plus) and February 26, Monday for Nokia 1.

While the Mobile Wolrd Congress 2018 event officially begins on the 26th of February. Both the smartphones are expected to be officially unveiled at MWC 2018 possibly along with Nokia 9.
