Google Chrome Beta 60 adds new features for Android devices

Google has rolled out a new update for Chrome Beta channel with some new updates and features. The latest update adds new search widget, context menu and a new file picker. Head below to check out the new features in detail.

  • The new search bar comes as a part of the anti-trust lawsuit against Google filed in Russia by Yandex. They said that Google violated the local competition rules and as a part of settlement Google was asked to add the capability to change search engines. Next feature is the ability
  • Next feature of Google is the ability to detect the malware popups and prevent the device from vibrating unless the user taps on the page.
  • Moving on, Chrome now has a new context menu which appears when a user taps and hold the image or a link.  It adds an icon next to each item on the list, which does make the whole thing look a bit nicer.
  • Lastly, the new update adds a new file picker with a more refined UI.

Do note that you need to enable the last two features to use them. Enable #enable-custom-context-menu flag and #enable-new-photo-picker flag respectively to use the features.
