Microsoft is rolling out an update for Windows Maps which improves the voice navigation options for Windows 10 Mobile users. The latest update bumps the app to version 5.1706.14720 and brings the following changes.

Changelog:

  • Greater control over voice navigation options.
  • The Maps app has also got the Fluent design where the Acrylic design now shows up in more places like search and there is a significant difference in the appearance from the previous update to the Maps App.
  • Automatic zoom option is gone.

This improves voice control functionality allowing you to control the voice volume in three modes ranging from “Softer”, to “Normal”, to “Louder”. There’s now direct access to the Bluetooth settings menu in the Maps app.

You can download the app from Windows Store below. Do let us know in the comments section if you notice something new apart from the above mentioned changes.
