There may be three new upcoming versions of Windows 10

Microsoft recently unintentionally released Build 16212 for Phones and PC’s which came with the problem of phones crashing while booting up. As the issue was solved within some hours, some Windows 10 users came across what Microsoft may be upto. One of the twitter user found three new SKU’s in the Build 16212 pkeyconfig.

The SKU’s found were:

  • Windows 10 Pro for Advanced PCs
  • Windows 10 Pro N for Advanced PCs
  • Windows Server 2016 ServerRdsh

Windows 10 Pro for Advanced PCs was earlier believed to be known as Windows 10 Pro for workstations. If its true then, one can optimize this SKU for multi-core PCs. The ‘N’ version of this SKU would be commercialized in European Union Countries.

The Windows Server 2016 ServerRdsh (Remote Desktop Session Host) may get released to aim at hosting Windows-based programs or the full Windows desktop for Remote Desktop Service clients.

Since Microsoft hasn’t announced anything on these new SKU’s, we may have to wait for their announcement as well as their release. All we can do now is to wait for something regarding this from their end.
