The Lenovo owned company, Motorola has several new smartphones in the pipeline, but we have yet to learn what exactly the US company is offering. According to previous leaks and rumours, There are at least three model of the Moto G6 smartphone, Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play and two new Moto E5 smartphone variants, Moto E5 and Moto E5 Play. All the smartphones are expected to be launched soon officially.
Motorola’s entire upcoming smartphones already leaked in the first half of the year. Now the Motorola Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play have received network certification in Asia.
The Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play have already got a certificate from two countries, Thailand and Indonesia. Which means they will probably be introduced imminently. The latter composed of Moto E5 and E5 Play Motorola’s affordable smartphone has been certified in Indonesia only.
However, there is no specs information leaked from the certification database. As for now, we have to rely on rumors and leaks. Motorola’s Moto G6 series smartphones will feature a 5.93-inch display along with 18:9 aspect ratio. It’s the first time Moto G series will come with full-screen (18:9 aspect ratio) design feature.
The Moto G6 Plus is expected to come with 1080 x 2160 pixels of resolution and the successor of Snapdragon 625 SoC, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. The Moto G6 will be powered by less powerful Snapdragon 450 SoC on board. And the Moto G6 Play should come with a low-end Snapdragon 430 processor under the hood. Motorola Moto E5 and Moto E5 Play are expected to have entry-level MediaTek chipsets under the hood and 16:9 aspect ratio display.
As for now, there are a couple of things of Motorola’s upcoming Moto G6 series and Moto E5 series that we still don’t know, like when exactly the company will launch the phones and how much they’ll cost.
