Microsoft has rolled out a new update for Skype which brought back the mood statuses along with some interesting changes. The company had removed the ability to add mood messages when they released the v8 of the app which brought a complete redesigned Skype experience. Microsoft is also adding in-chat dates, so you can tell when you sent that text to that friend that got ignored.

Here’s the changelog for Skype.

  •  Mood messages – express yourself with a mood message.
  • Dates in chat – see when messages were sent in chat.
  •  Improved sign-in – sign back into your account more easily.
  • General performance and reliability improvements.

The new update is not available for iPads yet, but is available for iPhones and can be downloaded from Apple Store below.
