After several weeks of speculation and a couple of leaks, Google has finally unveiled Tez, a new app for the Indian market. The app lets the users connect their phones with the bank accounts to pay for goods at online or physical stores.

Send money home to your family, split a dinner bill with friends, or pay the neighborhood chaiwala. Make all payments big or small, directly from your bank account with Tez, Google’s new digital payment app for India,


Supported banks include Axis, HDFC Bank, ICICI and State Bank of India and others that support UPI. Online payment partners include food chains like Dominos, transport services like RedBus, and Jet Airways. The limit for daily transfers is set to 1,00,000 and 20 transfers. The app is currently available for Android and iOS and can be downloaded from the respective stores below.
