Xiaomi introduced the Mi Max last year with a goal to offer better multimedia and gaming experience by giving the users a big bold screen to drool over! In 2017, the company launched it’s successor, the Mi Max 2 which was also a big hit. To add the cherry on the cake, they both came with big batteries which made them even more desirable.
The latest leaks suggesting the launch of Mi Max 3, expect the phone to come out in the mid-2018. It is rumored to launch with a new 18:9 display technology. The display will ship with Full HD+ i.e. 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution combined with a Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor with Adreno 508 GPU to back it up.
The Mi Max 3 is expected to have a metal unibody design as seen in almost every smartphone now. It will sport a rear fingerprint sensor and the front capacitive buttons will be replaced by on-screen buttons. Judging from it’s scheduled release date, we expect MIUI 9 out of the box on this device.
Currently, the Mi Max having a 6.44-inch IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It has the Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. The Mi Max 2 is packed with a 5,300mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0. We hope that Mi Max 3 lives up to the customers’ expectations.
