Microsoft previously revealed that they have been investing in Cyber-security R&D every year. They also said that the number of cyber-attacks worldwide has risen from 20,000 a week to as many as 700,000 a week, over the last three years.

This month, Microsoft is going to host an online forum to discuss its security efforts for Windows 10. The ‘Ask Microsoft Anything’ event will be held in Windows Security Space on Company’s Tech Community Site on 21st June 8 a.m., PT.


Microsoft said:

members of the Windows engineering and product management teams will be on hand to answer your questions about these Windows 10 security technologies, and more:

  • Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP)
  • Windows Defender Antivirus (AV)
  • Windows Hello for Business
  • Credential Guard
  • Device Guard”
